Closer images would help. If you could rotate your camera 90 degrees and take a portrait, instead of a landscape, that would help.

I'd say the badge looks promising!

Need some better photos but not particulary keen on it, the hinge looks a bit low for some reason, perhaps it is an illusion. At the least the waves must have been re-finished. Also the line between the concave area and the flat edge looks a little odd.

Naming looks good though

Just some initial thoughts, maybe I'm wrong, Will check my reference photos.

Do you know what the dimensions and weight are?

I agree with Lorenzo, this looks every bit like the high end fake so far.

That's what I get for not comparing to a 'good' badge, and using memory only. The catch is located too far toward the edge of the badge, and the recess runs too far up in toward the center off the badge. The 'swell' in the middle of the pin is off center, also. Sorry for the optimism.............

The badge is a fake in my opinion, and looks a lot like the same fake for sale on a web-site for $250 US (they altered the top hook). It is the same web-site that sells fake RK documents.

I have to agree, refer to this image of a good reverse, same badge. Hinge and letters are the most obvious problems. John

Attached a straight on photo of the back of a good one for comparison. I have to agree the the boys a definate fake. I thought it did not look quite right but could not put my finger on it exactly without checking the original.

Another pointer is to look at the angle created by the swastika on the reverse. On the original it is a square 90 deg, on the copy it looks a little acute (less than 90 deg)
