Hi Philippe. I can not call myself an expert but both look good to me. Especially the badge has some honest wear which I like.

I was hoping some document experts could chip in — if not you might want to post it in the documents section for an opinion. For my part, I don’t know whose signature that is since there wasn’t a Korvettenkapitän as Chef of the 9. Sicherungsdivision, so maybe it was a senior staff member substituting?

As for the badge, it’s a good early wartime Schickle so definitely does not go with a document dated 1945 (which is fine since no one is suggesting these two items were a grouping). It looks like the badge has been denazified and then renazified — the swastika is a bit damaged and then ground down to smooth it out — but still an original badge.

              Best regards,
              —-Norm

I agree, original tombak Schickle with repaired swaz.
                  Cheers,
                  Hubert

                      Hi Philippe,

as Norm suggested you might want to post the document in the Photo and Paper Items forum.

                      Cheers,Martin.
