PS Let me know how much you are asking for the PAB

Stefan (aktinium) does not only take, he also gives. He sent me all the GABs he had in his collection (about 15) for inspection and photographing for my book upon HIS initiative. I had them for weeks without a complaint.

I think he thinks his English is not sufficient to take part in the deeper discussions of this forum, as many Germans do.
      Cheers, Frank

The feet and head don't look quite right for Orth, but it could be the angle the badge is positioned in.

          Hello,

first I would like to say thanks to all collectors, which are so friendly and share theyr knowledge with me.

Of course I do my homework, but I have more experience in documentes than in decorations and it is really hard to identify fakes as all of you know espacelly, if they don’t have a maker mark or no catch and hinge.

I m not a dealer of course and before I sell some double of my collection and I m not really shure about the originality I post it here, because I will not sell fakes.

So I just got only positiv feedback for all my items I have sold in the past.

I also think, that it is interestig for other collectors, to see suspect items. I never post textbook decorations here and ask for originality.

And Frank is right, I will also help every time where I can, but my english is not that good.

I hope I could clearyfy the situation and wish everyone a lot of fun with our hobby.

          Stefan

            what is better

stefan to post his items that he is not sure about and get the or by the experts in there own field before posting on the e stand.
            or
posting on the e stand anyway and an unbeknown to him fake item slipping through to get sold.
as yet i have only bought from the e stand and it does reasure me that these items get looked at and disscussed before being placed for sale.
nobody knows everything about everything and some of the fakes/copies are getting better and better each year . most days i go through each section and read threads somtimes i see things that have already been discussed but that brings it back to my mind.i dont think it does any harm at all. if i do decide to sell anything on the e stand i will research to my best ability the item on here but would still want a second opinion. i remember a krim shield that was posted here i would have sworn blind it was ok but there were tiny diffferences that i didnt notice that were pointed out. if that had been mine and i was selling it i would have put it up for sale thinking it was ok. and unless one of the knowledgable people on here spotted it and disscussed it some poor soul could have ended up with a bad one. as you know things can sell within minutes on the e stand and that is how they slip through. we are all collectors on here and this is another weapon in our arsenal against the fakes.
            kind regards gaz

I think the above is a very fair comment.

              Well said Gaz...
