Strange uboat badge

Hi guys!

I have searched the forums for a uboat badge like this, haven´t found one. I´m not so keen on this one, but better safe than sorry so what are your opinions?

I´m not familar with this type of setup to the reverse, doesn´t look like any period one I have seen.......

Hi Nick yes I found it in Sweden but I don´t know how it ended up here, came from a house clearing, the person who died was a collector.

So may be he bought it years ago on the militaria market ...
Interesting would have been a direct local source prooving this type of french made KM badges arrived period in the northern part of Europe !

Agreed, original French made u-boat. Quite prolific nowadays in eastern Europe too.
