I like this one very much, but as usual, we cannot ever know when it was created. John

Without solid provenance it's hard to tell where many of these clasps were made.

I like this one.It looks like one of the "Prinz Eugen" type.

I have seen other of this type of clasp that came with provenance from Prinz Eugen crewmen.

Here is a photo from my collection of part of the Prinz Eugen crew.There are many Marinefrontspanges in wear here.
The photo is dated 1944/45.

I agree, looks ok, but without provenance we cannot exclude postwar production.
