9th U-Boat Flotille cap badge opinions please

After searching around on different threads here on the forum I think this one looks ok, but I'm not an expert on cap badges so to be 100% sure, I would appreciate your opinions.

Yes, it's the type that is thought to possibly be wartime, although no ironclad provenance has been presented here to date. I guess you saw the reference thread on these:

Yes I saw that thread and that is why I thought it looked alright compared to the wartime made vs the replica that Nick (GAMS1) posted. I just wanted a second opinion from someone that has more experience on these cap badges.
The badge is on it's way to my collection.
