From these images - I do not like it.
Maker's mark looks odd and the hinge does not look like the one used by Schwerin.
Could you please also post side views of the hinge and the catch?

I don't like this clasp at all. The maker mark is too linear and the catch does not appear to be correct on this one.

Hi Guys,

I agree with Hubert and William -- this is a cast repro. You only have to compare it an original 1st pattern clasp (like this one posted recently by John) to see the completely wrong hardware and numerous problems in the obverse detail, texture, outlines and maker mark.
