Very nice and professional display Graeme. I have never seen such a large collection of Minesweeper badges before.

        Graeme,
What a fantastic KM collection and the case! Thanks for showing
For my badges I use Leuchtturm VOLTERRA TRIO de Luxe wooden coin presentation cases with 3 trays, each  with 12 square  slots of  66 mm.
        https://www.leuchtturm.com/presentat...p-to-66mm.html
I added square sheets of bubble wrap between the trays in order to prevent badges from moving in the slots when carrying. I must say that your cases are way better! The only advantage of Leuchtturm cases is smaller size for the similiar capacity of badges which may be important if kept in the safe.
I am very pleaed to see that you are such great Minesweeper enthusiast and skilled illustrator!
I have one question only - why the tombak Hymmen Minesweeper is not sitting next to his two zinc brothers but in the other tray instead?
        Cheers,
        Hubert

            Hi Graeme,

It warms my heart to see such a beautiful and well-organized display. And the Minesweeper drawing is a work of art that transforms the exterior. Very impressive!

I use the same kind of cases mentioned by Hubert (about 8 of the them — all Minesweepers ) which work quite well, but that Minesweeper drawing puts your case in a league of its own!

            Best regards,
            —-Norm

              Hi Stan
I have always liked the design of the minesweeper and a few years back they were fairly affordable, both zinc and tombak, and that is probably why they are prominent in my collection.

              Hi Hubert
Your cases look useful too and I can see why you use them. The version I have might be made by loxley and they do come in a smaller two tray version. I opted for the way I set my badges in the foam, so that they definitely stay in place but can be removed fairly easily. Between each tray is a thin sheet of foam as well.

Iniially the boxes arrived as the pic below shows, two different styles of tray with white foam inserts. By having one piece of dark foam I can set out badges better and get more on a tray.

The simple reason for the tombak Hymmen being separated from the zincers, is so that there is a full tray of tombak badges.

              regards
              Graeme

                Thanks Norm.

The more I look at the cases that you and Hubert use, the more I like them. I know there are many types of artist pastel boxes that could suit different collectors and collections. Those artists definitely had their heads screwed on!

All Minesweepers Thats about 288 ! Wow.

The drawing on my case turned out better than I had expected. I was a little nervous to start with as it was a permanent marker pen

                cheers
