Information on awards, insignia

I have a personalized Kriegsmarine dagger that belonged to a guy that was on U-boat 175; I have his name, some biographical data and 3 photos from the capture in April, 1943.

Is there any Archival source, online or otherwise, that I could access to see what awards, badges, insignia he would have received? I would like to put a frame together of the dagger, images and any related items.

Unfortunately there are no award details given but there is a lot of info included in the links at the bottom.
