L/18 uboat help

I have been offered this L/18 uboat badge in a box by a guy on the net . has anybody got any opinions I collect kriegsmarine but this one has got me

That's not the BH Mayer I know. These BH Mayer badges normally have different design depending what they are made of zinc or buntmetall. This badge imitates the zinc design but seems to be made out of white metall with a strange gold finish. Just to make sure maybe you better post a pictures that shows the entire set-up.

Well on second thought it might be made out of zinc afterall. I think I can see a bit of zincbubbling on the eagles wings and on the reverse of the badge. Maybe it's just the lighting that makes it look a little strange. Really would love to see the entire set-up.

It looks suspicious to me. That bottom hook looks kinda "funky". I would also like to se straight front and back shots of this. Case is also not to my liking.
