Hi David sorry to say im not keen on this award, detail looks soft, there is no stern point (back) to the end of the viking ship in fact it looks as if its been filed out around the top of the shields, the globe looks to be made out of the wrong type metal and wrong finish. In fact it reminds me of a different fake where the gap below the sail was filled in. I would wait to see what others make of it but not one for me. Any chance of a reverse pic. All the best

      Hi Stijn,

I believe that is an original Foester & Barth. Pics of the reverse would be good if you can score them, but I like what I see so far.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Here's mine attributed to F&B. Do you think it's a match, Stijn?

              Hello,

And here is a detail from the Viking ship, etc ....

Thank you towards both persons who have answered already => i personally do not believe in the badge and believe it to be post war. The badge bears the maker mark of the company BSW, however the mark as found on 57 badges !!!

However please comment as on everything that where you see similarity's towards originals or things that are not correct.

I will show more as soon as i have the time.

              Cordial greetings,

Hi all sorry to say im a bit rushed today so dont have much time, however i still dont believe this award is a F.B detail looks too soft especially on the globe (unless of course its the pics). Also if you look at the bow waves they looks too thick and the right hand side as viewing lacks the third wave. the forward facing wave also does not appear to be the correct shape. Have to go now,but will be interesting to see the final outcome. but will have to wait until tonight. have to say this is my opinion. All the best.
