    Gents,
    I've been offered this beauty,well that what it looks like to me.
    If its a good one ,what should i be paying for this badge?,I don't see to many around ,so please PM me if you don't want to put prices on this thread,would really appreciate your help

    fake

    I believe it to be a fake it only has 6 2nd row portholes and the text is too straight among other points.

        i agree with Steve.

        It looks like a "Cave Creek" fake.

        Another similar badge was discussed here recently.

          yes when i posted the badge i then looked at the pinned thread on these badges and noticed the cave creek fake and my heart sunk somewhat...Where does the term cave creek come from?

            There used to be a dealer out of Cave Creek,AZ who peddled a series of these fakes.

            No idea as to who made them though ?

              Oh I see,cave creek fake sounds like a B movie from the 1950's BUT could turn into a pretty good Horror if you got burned for one for a few hundred Dollar$,glad i posted it here,it had me fooled
