While there are many issues with the one you posted, for all collectors if they see this badge with a golden wreath instead of faded grey, you need to be very careful and compare the maker mark on the reverse with a period example closely. John

Well, it is a decent fake and has fooled many collectors. You really have to do a side by side comparison, not too easy at a show but easy enough if an online seller. John

Just by looking at the obverse image i have to agree with John that this is a postwar reproduction.

The images are small and hard to see the details.

Close up images of the reverse hardware and maker mark will be of help here.
