U-Boat Badge - L/56

I took delivery of this one yesterday: a U-Boat badge by F&B, marked L/56.

The pictures don't do it justice: it really is in super condition.

This one came as a very pleasant surprise, since I had bought it based on a telephone conversation alone, i.e. no pictures. Anyway, it lived up to and beyond what I had been told. Certainly one of the nicest I have seen.

I think you´d be hard pushed to find any zinc UBoot in a better condition than that one. Nice find.

Here is the pic you requested. Given the amount of finish remaining on the badge, it is quite difficult to photograph straight on - hence the angle shot previously.
