submarine service award GWL original or fake?

Hi, I bought this service badge on submarines with GWL marking. Do you see any problem of AUTHENTICITY in her?

For me it looks like the badge have been postwar painted
And there is something wrong with the swastika aswell.

I think the badge is period, however it appears to me that it has been given a heavy coat of finish. Here is mine to compare.

I agree, original GWL zincer but repainted. The swaz could by ok, but it is hard to be sure due to this thick layer of paint which may cover traces of possible repair.

the swastika is repaired and I think your theory that it could have been painted by spray, the paint is too rough, seems plausible.
In conclusion, do you think it's a good buy for 175E.?

This is quite common u-boat with repaired swaz and repainted. It will be hard to resell even for 75 eur. Not collectible piece IMO.
