If it's real, maybe 200-250 Euros private sale.

    Dealer Price 350 Euros

Looks like a real S.H.u.Co.. It's DC# 7.1.2 in the comprehensive Destroyer classification system.

Although that setup with the large oval base plate is the less common variant, S.H.u.Co. Destroyers in general are not rare and not very detailed in their production (not to mention the profusion of post-war "round-S" examples that turn some people off the whole topic unless they're collectors of variants). As a reference point, a prominent dealer such as Helmut Weitze asks 275-285 Euro for a S.H.u.Co. Destroyer, a price point which is a reasonable estimate of value but which does not sell quickly. I would think that $275 U.S. might be a more realistic starting point for e-stand (sort of in line with Tony's estimate) and then go down from there if no takers?

Others may chip in with their opinions of course, since value is an elusive and moving target.

      Best regards,
      ---Norm

BTW, contrary to the title of the thread, this is a zinc badge, not Tombak.

I agree, nice Shuco zincer, uncommon variant
The gilt is still there which is not often seen on Shuco destroyers.
I think 250 Eur is a fair forum price due to above average condition.
          Cheers,
          Hubert
