Can you please give me an opinion on this Eboat badge. Is it good or bad .

It looks like original AS 2nd pattern s-boot, flat back variation.
Is the reverse silver in color or it looks so on this image only since the reverse should be dark/black.

Do you have any other photos of the badge? IMO a good AS badge, but I think it might have been re-painted so a few closeup pictures would help to sort it out.

Yes it should be dark/black. That is also why I think that this has maybe been cleaned up with acid (maybe a bit too much) and than the front has been re-painted. This could of course only bee because of the flash from the camera or something with the optic.
