A few Hilfskreuzer awards.

I'll do a group shot later.I have about 40 HK awards including mini's and the 1957 types.
It has been my area of collecting for many years now,as some of you know.

Rather than post the whole lot in a group photo,i just thought i'd post a few of my favorite pieces.
Hope you like them.Some are very rare.

I'll start with a tombak Meybauer and one of only three I know of in collections.Sadly,the catch is missing on this example,but still a great piece to have.
This is the only known type of HK award that features a cut-out swastika.

Another rare one...Tombak Schickle.

L/18 marked Mayer in zinc.

Again,one of only three I know of in collections.

My beat up Japanese,Yokohama made piece in tombak.

I love this one and hopefully one day i can add a "sterling" example to the collection if the price is right ??

Probably the nicest looking of my three tombak Schwerin awards.

A nice unworn Juncker in tombak.

This one belonged to Erich Kuhn who was the 1st Officer on the HK ATLANTIS.

Here is the rest of the Kuhn grouping that i have.

It includes his Imperial Meybauer screwback EKI,1939 EKII Deumer spange,postwar lapel pin of the ATLANTIS traditions badge,a crewbook from the training ship "Grossdeutschland 1938 with a dedication from his crew.
The cream of the crop is his ATLANTIS crewbook with a written dedication by his Commander,Bernhard Rogge.

Another Juncker to an ATLANTIS crewman.

This one is for Matr.Alfons Grzywotz.

It is well worn and polished down to the basemetal.

But his name is scratched on the reverse.What more could you want from an ATLANTIS crewman.

Here is a zinc Schwerin that belonged to Ober-Funkmeister Gerhard Mauerberger of the HK STIER.
His name is scratched on the reverse and I am fortunate to have his award document too.
