        It's original late war Rettenmeier zincer, type 5.9.1 in the Classification system, with spurious marks added postwar on the reverse. Or the whole badge was made early postwar from wartime leftovers for souvenir market which is also possible for this maker. I personaly think this is wartime badge 'upgraded' later for higher sale margin.

          The badge looks original but the markings are added postwar IMO

            I agree. Either wartime or post-war assembly -- not known for sure which is correct but generally accepted as late wartime for lack of proof otherwise.
