Bad photos but I think it has a chance but the pin does not look right and the hinge pin is different also.

Well, I wish I had in hands... anyway, the finish is all wrong, very similiar to the fake S&L HSF posted in the other thread, the hinge is wrong, the main pin is wrong.
It misses the rised oval rim for the hinge so if it is refinished original with replaced hardware, then the only possible variant is 2.3.6 (cast hinge and catch replaced in factory with oval sheet metal hinge and round wire question mark catch). But all types 2.3.6 have prominent stiriations on the reverse as a result of factory modification and this one misses those stiriations.
I enclose my 2.3.6 for comparison which shows correct hardware.

Hm. Pretty nasty one with poor detail and pitting. Like Hubert says, it sits in that undesirable grey area between cast fake and ground-dug original with replaced hinge and pin and refinished. I vote for the former, but either way it's not very collectible I think.
