Sounds like this fake badge discussed previously: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...29#post6849229

And here's the 13-page reference thread for the U-Boat with diamonds: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=633001

Here is the revers of the fake Diamonds Badge.
I scanned a whole lot of fake badges a guy won at an auction (Affiliated Auction) and I helped him with my opinion to try to get his money back.

Where did this now show up?

Despite the different photography, it's clearly the same badge discussed in the previous thread.

Would you please give us more information about this example? Did you find it on the internet, is it for sale, do you own it?

                        U boat with Diamonds

It must be a copy it came from Affiliate Auctions being part of a collection from Dr J Diggs
                        Yes I do own it,
I also obtained a German Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with oak leaves and swords. Three piece construction and magnetic core with non magnetic sides. It is stamped L/12 .800 on the cross as well as .800 on the oak leaf clasp

Attached are two of the 18 (!) evaluations I did for the (I guess) previous owners in order to help them to get thewir moeny back. I guess they did based on the items being fake.
I wonder how they ended up in Australia. Where they sold as fakes?
