I bought this on the e-stand years ago and I had asked for a discussion on it. I cannot find the thread for the life of me, but at the time those in the know (including John, but please do not hold him to any account for a thread I cannot find) that this was a unknown maker or flat back maker.

Would this be a Alois Rettenmaier piece ? The head, pin shape and catch plate seem correct.
