we got this one from private purchase.

For me it looks okay, but did not find any with L/21 mark.

What do you think?

Hi Sascha,

Thanks for showing this very interesting badge. I agree with Alex, unfortunately this is a Staegemeir fake. It's based upon the S&L design and is very well done but with subtle texture abnormalities, the wrong catch and of course a spurious L/21 mark. Staegemeir has used this same fake "L/21" mark on their reproduction S&L Hilfskreuzer badge, capitalizing on the previous misconception that they were made by F&B. At least he's consistent...
