I suspect this patch is a copy, an I correct? Also are the originals only in yellow cotton or cellulon?

Hi Keith,

There was no known or accepted Cellon version, just yellow cotton. That one may have been a yellow cotton thread version but someone has oversewn it by hand in metallic thread making it impossible to know for sure the underlying pattern.

It may have been the "6-tooth" variant for which there is not yet any provenance, but it's hard to be sure now. There's more reading on the topic in this thread:

At the best of times a 6-tooth variant is somewhat controversial so for this example, personally, I think there is no significant value to it in its further ambiguous condition.
