        Thanks Darrell was this variant common for this maker ?

        I am more familiar with the 5 bridge window versions.
        Was this missing window a die stamping mistake, are these ones rarer versions than the 5 bridge versions ?

            Lol I really have NO Problems if my items are discussed.. but it would be really fair and nice, if the seller gets an Information from the threat starter

            So the seller can give his Statement if he wants...

            And , yes... this is a fine , worn original Schwerin Piece.

              It's not rare by any means. Likely caused by the wearing or broken die.

                Agreed, HSF is original tombak Schwerin badge, type 1.1.3 in the Classification system. Less common variant but not rare at any rate.

                    Given the pride Germany put into its medals, it always shocks me that the "missing window" variant was allowed to persist, and that a die correction wasn't made as soon as they saw parts emerge from the stamp.
