Another High Seas Fleet - opinions?

I have the opportunity to acquire another HSF. This one looks like it is one of the French-made versions (bacqueville?)

I like the looks of it, what do you all think? The hinge and catch match other examples that I have seen.

Hi Finn,

i am just not a fan of these French made badges.Many beleive they are postwar,as do i.

However,i do find them interesting but not badges i would want in my collection.

They have been dicussed many times on this forum before,just do a forum search under "Bacqueville".

Besides,there are so many good German/Austrian made examples out there.

Bottom line is, if you like it,go for it.

It's not a repro of the French type, if that's what you're asking, so if you believe in the type then go for it as Martin has suggested.
