Kriegsmarine with Anti-Partisan Badge?

Hi guys! A thought on my mind recently that I've been trying to research. I've read that Kriegsmarine personnel were eligible for the APB. Was this true and who were eligible, Coastal Artillery/E-Boats? We're any actually awarded?

Yes, that´s correct. Some members of the MEK units (Marine-Einsatz-Kommandos = Naval Task Forces) were sent in action against partisans and received the APB.

They were part of the KdK – Kleinkampfverbände der Kriegsmarine and fought, for example, in the area Adriatic sea.

There is a nice photo of Radio operator in Tropical uniform on page 181 of Platzwals book over the Naval Badges/Awards. It also has an example of the award document signed by Admiral Heye. After talking with Himmler, the extension was made to any KM craft that had combat with Partisan ships or received fire from the coast from Partisan Artillery or if they engages either their flak guns, Partisan vehicles on the coast or Partisan motor sail boats transporting supply's or troops.
