A Minesweeper badge up for opinions gents, by FEC.OTTO...

    Hello gents

I've got a friend that doubt's if this badge is an original.

The darkening on the back looks like heavy patina to me but I was hoping the better trained eyes could help me out on this one ?

Thanks in advance for the input gents,

    Jim

        Hi Jim,
IMO this is original tombak Schwerin Minesweeper, no problems here at all For some reason the reverse was cleaned.
        Cheers,
        Hubert

Hubert is correct IMO. Original badge, heavily cleaned both chemically and with a brush I think. The obverse might not have been worked on though.

              Hi Jim,

I agree with John and Hubert, a worn original not in the best condition, but original IMO.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
