Hi Guys,
I would love to get your opinions on this one. I don't know how I feel about it. The edges seem fairly sharp. Pin, hinge and catch are all steel.

Hi Nathan,

A typical example of the Rettenmaier-attributed zincer, formerly called "flatback". It's type 6.10.2 in the comprehensive Destroyer classification system. You're right they're not pretty but presumably wartime (or at least wartime leftovers since Rettenmaier's business was uninterrupted during and after the war).
