    Hi Jean-Charles,

    That's considered a "wartime-compatible" Steinhauer & Lück zinc Marine Artillery badge. Here's a thread on the S&L:
    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=702075
All S&L zincers are fairly common. The large quantity of late wartime leftovers combined with the practise of post-war assembly makes them problematic but there are no red flags on your badge.

    Best regards,
    ---Norm

      Hi JC,

I can only agree with all Norm wrote here, a wartime compatible S&L. Hardware, zinc base metal, finish and wear all look believable to me.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
