I saw this U-Boat Badge for sell and want to ask if this is ok ?

I think it is a original Funke & Brüninghaus right ?

Well, it's as good as any other of these "wartime-compatible unmarked Funcke & Brueninghaus" zincers.

I'm just not a big fan of these common badges and suspect they were among the tons of Lüdenscheid leftovers in that same "grey area" as S&L and Rettenmaier zincers. Doesn't mean it's necessarily bad, just less desirable than an unambiguous early war badge. It may seem unfair to tar a whole population of zincers with the "possibly post-war assembly" brush, especially since for all we know 90% might be wartime and 10% post-war (or any other ratio). Every collector has to decide on his own comfort zone and what it's worth to him.
