Is it good or a bad one here?

Picked it up it off the estand a while back. Back on the stand and some one has a little question about it.

Hi Brian,

An odd one. On first glance at the pitting and deformities it looks like a cast fake, but on closer look I think this is an original badge that has been either terribly mistreated or ground-dug in the past and then repainted.

The hardware is all correct which is probably its saving grace. You can see here that the top hook with its small round base plate looks original.
