I'm curious about this piece too. I've seen similar non-standard "65" marks on some EK 1s.

The same 65 mm is also on early KVKs as well.

I think it is a good one based on the few pictures I have seen of these, but they are rare.

Actually, the early KVK mark (below) is slightly different. But if I remember correctly, the EK mark was the same as the one on this U-Boot Badge.
