Kriegsmarine insignia

I got this last night with a grouping of stuff. Trying to figure out if it meant something that is not in my books. Or did the gi get ahold of a wreath for a german cross in cloth and decided to make his own badge. The other things from the grouping is 2 kriegsmarine breast eagles, 6 german made zinc di for us 7th army, a funeral slash, nsdap regular party flag, podium banner and a artillery visor cap for a nco.

Nice original DKiG wreath enhanced with fouled anchor metal insignia for shoulder boards, I'd say.

I like it, even if it's not official issue item.

Dkig wreath looks good but overall this badge is not prescribed. The value is a sum of parts, nothing more imo.
