Deumer's Minesweeper - Variation or manufacturing defect?

Hi,
I recently received Deumer's Minesweeper with unilateral absence of notches around the head of an eagle. Is this a variation on this type of decorations or just a manufacturing defect?

Hej Jarek!
This is just excessive solder which filled the space between eagle's head and wing while soldering the upper pin plate. Not a variation nor a deffect, just a crude soldering job

Also I thought about it, but watching the distinction under a magnifying glass it seemed to me that it is "an extension" of the body decorations ...
