Is the hinge and catch cast as one piece with the rest of the badge?

This one needs much better pics.

Better pics are needed but initial impression speaks for original.

Hi MMM, reverse looks ok to me, but still cant make out the hinge, maybe im just getting too old. But could do with closer pics. All the best.

I also would like much larger and clearer pictures for this one. The badge looks like an "FO" design, but I really don't like the appearance of the finish on the wreath, especially the "wear pattern" doesn't look authentic to me.. Also don't like the hinge and catch.

Hi Lorenzo i too thought F.O., if so that type of catch would be ok. I take it to be sunken in and what you see around the catch is in fact solder? But definately better pics. Interesting. Oh my poor eyes.

                          2) Münster say it is dished out in the center and believes it to be an FO. Also claims the wash on the wreath is much more dull gold and is shinier as a result of the scanner and photoshop.

These "close ups" are just cropped areas of the original bad picture. What we need is a new, better picture.

I will have Münster take care of it.
