    I would agree that this is a cast reproduction with 1970's hardware. Can you post a photo of the reverse with the pin down?

      Yes, shiny basemetal and wrong hardware indicate it is most likely a cast fake.

            It's based upon the variant with the stamped in maker mark, so the only question is could it still be a messed-with original with replaced hardware, but I still think it looks off on these photos. A close up of the inner margin would also help to clarify if we're seeing a casting seam there.
