New Minesweeper incoming!

Hi!

I have just won this nice tombac Minesweeper badge. I think it's manufactured by Adolf Scholze, and I really like it.

What do others think about it?

I agree with Hubert, a very nice badge, It still shows some of the original gilding which was a unique slightly olive shade on this type of badge. It looks like the hinge pin was repaired at some point, possibly at the time the sailor die the hand vaulting which resulted in the vertical marks to either side of the hinge and catch. Great character and probably worn with pride.

This is my 4th MS so far, and I am sure I'll get some more versions of this undervalued badge.

I got it for 135eur, which I consider a good price for this piece.
