    It´s a postwar Rudolf Souval copy. It have the special RS catch

            By coincidence, the same type of badge was just recently posted here:
            http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=716008 but the example in that thread has Souval's L/58 stamp.

            I wouldn't be surprised if Steve's example also had the L/58 stamp but someone abraded it off in the past.

                  Hi Steve,

                  My point is the finish is completely abraded off from that area and there's a tiny depression, suggesting the possibility that the area was sanded down to remove the L/58 -- I don't think any other sign would remain? Anyway, it's irrelevant to what the badge is. Here are a couple more examples of these post-war Souvals that are unmarked.
