    L/11 minesweeper badge

    Hi guys,

here I would like to show you my new L/11 marked minesweeper badge with polished swastica. In general I don't collect minesweeper badges, but on this one I couldn't resist :-)

I hope you like it as well and opinions are welcome!

    Best regards
    Sven

      Great badge, Sven!

Hard to find in that condition. That's the second nicest condition L/11 vertical pin Deumer I've seen -- the first being the one in The Kriesgsmarine Awards, volume I.

      Best regards,
      ---Norm

        Hi Norm,

thanks for your kind comment - much appreciated!!!

I didn't know that they are hard to find in such a condition - so it was a really good decision to buy it :-)

Two more. Notice, they all have the curved "scratch" on the lower right of the reverse that is typical for this variant. Not sure what that represents since it does not seem to be caused by the end of the main. Seems to be an artifact of one of the steps in production.

The horizontal pin version lacks this "scratch" and the L/11 marked version is somewhat harder to find than the marked vertical pin version.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                        and last one:
                        - tombak, unmarked, horizontal pin. I still miss tombak marked example with this type of reverse setup.
                        Cheers,
                        Hubert

@Myrca: Marineauszeichnungen fand ich schon immer sehr schön und deshalb lege ich mir momentan ein paar in die Sammlung. Ich will sicher nicht jede Variante haben, aber ein paar Buntmetaller suche ich noch :-)
