Hi DeLuxxe,

From what I see so far, I'm afraid this appears to be a cast reproduction of a zinc Schwerin (although I can't tell the base metal of this example). Pitting on both the obverse and reverse beneath the finish, the wrong color finish, incorrect hardware and apparent cast-in "base plate" for the catch with a crude partial catch soldered end-on, again underneath the final finish, are all bad signs in my opinion.

If you have this badge in hand, could you please provide accurate dimensions and the weight in grams to one decimal place, as that may be revealing as well.
