    boxed U-Boat Clasp

    Hi Guys!
I do not have very good pictures of this but from the pictures I have it looks OK. Has anyone ever seen a carton like this before and what do you guys think?
    Thanks!

After the photos, the clasp looks good; however, there are very good copies - and therefore better photos are required. You can find a clasp in the box here: https://www.weitze.net/detail/34/U_B...e__188534.html

        Bob,

Would like to see pin down images also but the clasp looks like it might be OK to me. Whenever clasps like this are presented without the pin images, you need to be very careful.

Unaware of any box like this either for this clasp.

Please get a pin down shot for us to look at if you can. I first thought it was a fake, but now think it is period. First would like to see the other images though.

WOW! Another beautiful cased example. Has anyone considered creating a pinned thread of KM related cases, boxes and envelopes? Thinking back I think there have been a lot of examples posted here for the various awards.

Thanks for all of your help guys! I received some "hints" on what to look for on the box and it was right as rain. Super cool and super "minty"!
                  Thanks again!

Thanks Pete for your images. Nice set and a nice set posted by Bob. I had not seen the clasp box before, glad to have it in our database.

To go along with this thread on nice boxed examples, for future reference here are some excellent photos of a mint clasp in its original carton that was posted previously:
