I have one of these (http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...52815#poststop) but it has an open space between the bottom of the hull and the wreath.

Don't know much about these but I'm guessing there may be variations.

Can you confirm it as an original piece?

          Hi JOhnny,

At this point I can't confirm it's an original piece; I can only say it looks like a very nicely crafted mint Tombak 9 mm mini. I like its look and the construction is compatible with early wartime but we still need more evidence to confirm its authenticity in my opinion.

Could you also please show a full length view showing the knurling on the pin?

          Best regards,
          ---Norm

            Thank you for your answer.
            Right it's from a Tombak.
Of course, I show the image with full piece

              Hi Jan,

Well it's a very nice looking mini at the very least. Does your camera have a macro setting to get good well-lit closeups of the margins to see if there are shear marks from die stamping, somthing like this?

              Best regards,
              ---Norm
