    E Boat 1st Pattern

    Hello all,
just to make sure I am getting things right these days.
I have a great representative collection of reproductions for comparison due to my inexperience in my formative years but this one I think is good.
Any comments or opinions would be appreciated.

    Hi saladin,

I agree, looks like a good, heavily worn original.

    Best regards,

        As mentioned,

it is good but well worn.

Still,a great badge to have IMO.

                    Thanks Andy for your comments.
The original owner must have been very proud of it as it was swapped in Trieste for a packet of cigarettes. The wear in hand is quite light in my opinion...It was dusk when I took the picture

                    All the best

                      Hi Doug,

I'd love to hear more about that Trieste story! Do you know anything about which unit, was it upon surrender, maybe to Australian troops, etc?

                      Best regards,
                      ---Norm
