Placzek Minesweeper Badge. Opinions

Hi to all
I've recently acquired a boxed Otto Placzek Minsweeper badge in it's original box.
I would just like to have some opinions as to whether it's genuine.
I'm not an expert so I wouldn't know what to look for to tell if it is correct.
I didn't acquire it from a dealer so I hope it's right.
Any advice would be much appreciated

I am sorry, its a fake the poor quality, set-up etc all indicates that this is not an original badge.

Not an original badge Im afraid but the box looks like a good one for silver/gold woundbadge.

The badge is no good.

Otto Placzek is the designer and the manufacturer is Schwerin

The box looks more promising. Reminds me a late war EK1 box?

Thank you for your advice on the badge. Obviously disappointing but unfortunately one of those things.
Perhaps I'll be able to sell the box and recover part of the costs.
