Yes, looks like a good "wartime-compatible" zinc Souval Destroyer with the less common reverse setup. It would have been a real beauty if only the hinge and main pin were still there. That's a pity.

Ahh, the obverse is a stunner. And yes, too bad about the hinge/pin assembly.
Still a gorgeous wartime Souval for display purposes.

Thanks for the replys, they are much appreciated. I wish the hinge/pin were still there as well, but it was a nice find nonetheless I think

That may be the best RS obverse I have seen. Pity about the reverse but I agree it is still a nice display piece and despite the missing hinge and pin it does exhibit nicely those unique characteristics of a RS destroyer badge that we look for.
