Hi, I've got one just like it. These Friedrich Orth Zinkers seem to all appear in similar fashion as far as appearance goes. I like it IMO, but I also screwed up on another recently.

Hi Ralph,

Looks like a good worn "Type 3" f.o. zinc Fleet badge. It appears that all the finish is worn off except for some residual gilding apparent on the solder around the question mark-shaped catch. Someone reapplied some gilding (probably a long time ago) which splashed onto the central feature.
