That appears to be a cast fake based upon the "unknown flatback" U-Boat. Here's one of the many threads on the flatback for future reference:

Thanks guys. One other question, I have no use for some of the repros I have, so I`ll be selling them. I know there is a market for them, the question is, as a repro, what kind of value do they have ( ie. this one)?? Thanks for the help!!

Hi Chris,
Just got back, as the fellas have stated already this one is a definitive Cast Reproduction of a UBoot Badge. As far as pricing on Repros is concerned, there is a lot of room between a good and bad Repro and pricing thereof. I would monitor the Bazaar section to get an idea.
