U-boat badge for review

Hi Gran Sasso,

It's a good Wiedmann zinc U-Boat. Some might call it an unmarked example but it may just be an "under-marked" example. The mark is usually quite shallow, located at the bottom of the reverse below the cutout under the U-Boat, but in that example there is some solder or something underneath the gilding in exactly that spot which may have simply obscured the faint mark. Anyway, a very nice badge.

Very Nice Wiedmann UBoot Zinker. Wiedmann also used this particular hinge on other awards they produced (Clamshell).
