    U-boat pin ??

    is this by chance a U-boat Pin? Thanks for any help..

    Is that the coat of arms for the city of Berlin?

    In any case, it could have been a dual use piece - initially indended as a tourist or an "event" piece but adopted by a U-boat. Without PROVENANCE, there's no way to say - exactly like all the 5 Olympic Ring stickpins/pinbacks that were produced for the 36 Olympics, were adopted by some U-boats and now EVERY 5 Olympic Ring stickpin/pinback is from a U-boat.

    Whatever it's actual use, it's a nice period piece.

        Hi Van,
        As Mike has said it looks like possible souvenir piece which might be adopted by u-boat crew member? It shows the coat of arms for the city of Berlin.
